The Promotions Team

Jessica Turner, Executive Marketing & Publicity Director
Jessica had no idea how much assuming the moniker “The Spinecracker” would completely change her life. In 2010 while working as the marketing assistant and social media director for a real estate firm in San Diego, she began reviewing books on her personal book blog. Always the chatterbox, she quickly befriended authors, publishers, and fellow reviewers. She had the opportunity to become a freelance writer for and later the Huffington Post. But her dream was to always find a way in to the magical word of publishing. Jessica was hired by Entangled Publishing in July 2012 as a publicist. She has since moved into a Publicity Director role and has resigned from her other job, as she’s found her dream job once and for all. She can be found on twitter @TheSpinecracker

Katie Clapsadl, Publicity Director
Katie can’t remember a time when reading wasn’t a central part of her life and she can usually be found with her nose stuck in a book. Holding a degree in Business, she’s worked several sales and marketing jobs, but none of them felt quite right. So she decided to take some time off to raise a family and in the interim started the book blog, A Book Obsession as an outlet for her passion for reading. Looking back she never could have imagined the success and all of the media contacts she would gain in such a short time. In addition to running the book blog she also reviews for RT Magazine. But there still was the problem of finding a career that would be as satisfying as her passion for books. The answer came in July of 2012 when she started working for Entangled as a publicist. She knew she had found her dream job, and as they say, the rest is history.  Katie lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. Find her on twitter @Kt_Clapsadl
